I would have to agree with some of the previous posters that some parents are qualified to homeschool their children and some aren't.

JoelB, what do you think some of the jobs gone from Elkhart county were? As a former resident who worked in the auto industry, I knew I had to leave the area when my plant shut down. Many current residents are now facing the same decision and some don't have the option to leave.
Would John McCain have fared better with a different running mate?

Shoot...I would have voted for McCain (who was still a moderate) in 2000 had he won the nomination. A hard right turn and the choice of an un-vetted cheerleader most definitely would have swayed me from voting for him, had I been undecided in 2008.
Did you experience any glitches when voting?
